Arc of Prince George's County  offers a lifetime of support, understanding, and opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Dream Corp. is the non-profit which launched PIPS (Parents of Ill or Pregnant Students). PGPIPS is a chapter of PIPS. It is established to afford individuals  with developmental disabilities and/or special health care needs, their families and typically developing peers a mechanism to strive for and achieve their hopes and dreams.

Exceptional Families Exceptional Service supports military families of children with special needs

Guiding Exceptional Parents offers Special Needs Navigation Services that provide parents with the resources and knowledge they need to confidently and effectively help your children. 

Kennedy Krieger Institute  provides specialized health needs interagency cooperation.

Maryland 2-1-1 (This hotline is staffed by professionals. It is for people in need and family members who are struggling with emotional issues. It also provides referrals to rental assistance, food banks, affordable housing resources, child care, after-school programs, elderly care, financial literacy and job training programs) 

MarylandCAN is a branch of 50CAN: The 50-State Campaign for Achievement Now, a national network of state-level educational advocacy groups.

Maryland Disability Law Center offers free legal services to Marylanders of any age with all types of disabilities.

Maryland Parent Teacher Association is the statewide body supporting county and local parent teacher associations.

Parents' Place of Maryland provides information to Maryland families of children with all disabilities and special health care needs.

Prince George's County Public School System

Prince George's County Infants and Toddlers Program has a social network site to support parents. 

PSHN (Parents Students with Special Healthcare Needs) is an emerging network of parent groups. This is the Prince George's County chapter of Parent with Healthcare Needs.

Special Education Citizen's Advisory Council of Prince George's County (SECACPG) Parent Group for PGCPS is a joint parent and school personnel group supporting special education in Prince George's County public schools.
